Women's Self Defense Series 

CFC is proud to present the Women's Self Defense Series at the Defensive Action Center. This fun, interactive four part training program will focus on developing a warrior mindset, firearms safety / introduction to concealed carry techniques, weapon manipulation / employment and realistic self-defense scenarios utilizing UTM Non-Lethal Training Ammunition.

This course is perfect for any woman, age 14 or older and will help develop critical self defense skills. This four part training series will be conducted the first four Fridays in September. Each session will include at least two hours of hands on training by currently certified law enforcement or military instructors with years of experience in their respective fields. Available in both four week and single day format.

Date Night Series

Looking for a unique, fun, hands-on date for you and your partner? Look no further than the Continuum of Force Date Night series at Defensive Action Center.

Each Date Night includes a catered dinner, a block of instruction on basic manipulations for either the Glock/M&P series handgun or AR15 rifle and a block of instruction on a corresponding topic including- concealed carry techniques (CCW), close quarters battle (CQB), Vehicle Defense, Medical and more. The night concludes with you and your partner going through a realistic scenario with live role players who may or may not shoot back to test your team work and drive home the topics and techniques covered earlier in the night.

Close Quarters Battle (CQB) 

Basic CQB course instructed by active SWAT Law Enforcement Officers. Topics covered include:

Introduction to CQB / Building Searches 
Speed of Movement
Threshold Assessment and Setting up for Room Entry
Individual Movement Techniques 
Team Movements Techniques 
Individual CQB Room Entries 
Team CQB Room Entries 
Doors 

Personal AR15 rifles are encouraged as well as any support gear (belts, vests, carriers, etc)
Personal Glock/M&P series holsters may be used

TacMed

CFC is proud to present TacMed at the Defensive Action Center. This fun, interactive course will focus on developing the warrior mindset necessary to prevail during critical incidents, employment of a concealed firearm during realistic scenario based training and emergency medical treatment of combat/critical incident related trauma with an emphasis on hemorrhage control and care under fire. 

Not only is this course perfect for anyone who carries a firearm for self-defense, it also applies to anyone who wants to take a proactive step towards being a solution during a critical incident, not just a victim. You do not have to carry a firearm to get something out of this course. This class is eight hours of hands on training by currently certified law enforcement or military instructors with years of experience in their respective fields.

Skill Builder Series

Skill builders are shorter clinics focused on building fundamental skills through instructor led drills. We combine flat range, live fire drills with NLTA and role players to increase stress and build proficiency with your weapon and gear. These are a great way to test any support gear (belts, holsters, vests, armor and plate carriers, etc) under stress and real world environments.

​Variants of skill builders include Carbine, Pistol: CCW, Pistol: Overt, Night Vision and more.

Fundamentals of Home Defense

This course will cover legal considerations and use of force decisions in the home, home defense weapon selection and considerations, an introduction to low light techniques and basic CQB techniques. The shoothouse will be setup with special walls to demonstrate round pass through and the consequences of misses in a home environment. UTM pistols and rifles available as well as conversions for personal AR15, this is an excellent opportunity to vet your HD rifle in a realistic environment, including low and no light.

Pistol 1

Thinking about applying for an enhanced concealed pistol license? Maybe you just want to hone your skills with the handgun you carry every day. This is a low stress, fun course designed for the beginner to intermediate shooter and will provide you with a basic understanding of how to handle, function, shoot and safely carry a handgun. We begin the day with a classroom portion and move onto a live fire range during the second half of the day.

Carbine 1

This is a low stress, fun course designed for the beginner or Intermediate shooter and will provide you with a basic understanding of how to handle, function, shoot and safely operate a carbine rifle. We begin the day with a short classroom portion and move onto a live fire range during the second half of the day. No experience is required to attend this course. (8 Hours)

Idaho Enhanced CCW Course 

Thinking about applying for an enhanced concealed pistol license? Maybe you just want to hone your skills with the handgun you carry every day. We are proud to team up with HCTC Firearms and Continuum of Force Concepts to bring you the Idaho Enhanced CCW Course. We begin the day in the classroom at Defensive Action Center and move onto a live fire range during the second half of the day (Fernan Rod and Gun Club) . This course satisfies all training requirements for the Idaho Enhanced License to Carry Concealed Weapons. ​
